- INTERRUPTED YOUTH; THE PLOT
Interrupted Youth is loosely based around the french TV show Les Revenants, or The Returned in English. Les Revenants takes place around a sleepy small town where people who have passed away suddenly starts coming back, without any recollection of their own deaths or any kind of knowledge of why they have returned. Interrupted Youth takes place in a similar sleepy town, by the name of Norden, located outside of Koochiching, Minnesota. Here, the inhabitants of Norden lives their perfectly calm, small town lives, when suddenly people who have passed away the last couple of years starts appearing around the town again. No one has a clue why this is happening, and the people who are coming back have no memory of ever passing away. They are exactly the same as before their deaths, except they have a very hard time sleeping and feeling calm. It is as if the feeling of being dead still lingers on in their restless limbs and there is no one that has a resolution to their problems.

- THE DEAD;
No one really knows where or when the dead came back, they just seemed to be walking out of the forest one day a couple of years ago. There is not much information about them, because they're hidden and there are only a few people around Norden that knows about them. The dead are not to be confused with zombies, vampires or other supernatural beings. Except maybe for a ghost, that is probably the easiest way to describe them. Their bodies are still laying buried under ground and it almost seems that the dead are coming back because they are bound to someone. They are pretty much normal people, they can be touched, feel happiness, sadness, love and loss, but they are burden with the feeling of something being wrong at all times, like they don't belong here. They have also a very hard time falling asleep and feeling a constant hunger after something, without anyone knowing the answer to what they need. Some of the dead also have wounds some where on their body that doesn't seem to ever heal, but most of them looks just like you and me, and no one would look twice when they walked by on the street. It is said that the dead are coming back because of a curse from the old city, buried underneath the big lake that the dam created. The old town was washed away during a flood, and there wasn't any help that came to that town, and because of that there is said that their is a curse coming from someone, buried under tons of water. 

- THE ALIVE;
Norden was founded in the early 1900 century. It was a small town, only inhabited by around a hundred people. The town has grown over its years but has managed to maintain its small town feeling. No one really knows about Norden, it isn't one of those towns you learn about in history class. Nothing important or impressing have ever happened here. Except for now, with the dead coming back, but that's still one of the towns many secrets and not many knows about it. There is a legend about the town, not really anyone outside of Norden knows about it, but it is said that under the dam there is another town, an even older one. People say that when the water is low in the lake there is a possibility to see the old church roof sticking out of the water. But there isn't really any proof of that. The city of Norden is overall a very mysterious city, being surrounded by woods and lakes, located quiet a bit away from any big city not many know about Norden. The city is seems to be enveloped by a shared melancholy among its inhabitants, even though that melancholy is hard to put ones finger on, it is as if the city was build on great sorrow. 

- THE EMOTIONAL BAND BETWEEN THE LIVING AND THE DEAD;
Most of the times it seems that the Dead are coming back because of an unfinished business, a relationship or an emotional bound between the living and the dead. It can be a little sister who left too early, a lover who come back to find out why he killed himself right before the wedding with the love of his life, an 


Interrupted Youth plays with the idea of Death not being the final station... (To be continued soon)
